The Garden Tomb! It is obvious this place has long been a garden and possibly is the one mentioned in John 19 where Joseph of Arimathea had prepared his family tomb prior to Jesus' death. In 1904 they discovered a large cistern (3rd largest in the city) that held 264,000 gallons of water.
